Estonia, a small country in north eastern Europe, was occupied by the Soviet Union from 1944 to 1991. In order to tie it closer to Moscow, Russian people were resettled into Estonian territory during that time. Now, 26 years after the Estonian independence, Russian names are still the most frequent ones. In the top 10 are only Russian names with Aleksandr, Vladimir and Olga leading the list. The first Estonian name Andres comes on rank #16. See the table for yourself and search for your name.
